According to Xinhua News Agency, a militant group under the 'Iraqi Islamic Resistance Movement' issued a statement on March 1, stating that they launched a drone attack on a US military base in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdish Autonomous Region in northern Iraq, to support Iran against US and Israeli aggression and defend Iraq's sovereignty.
