Egypt has proposed a bill that would lessen their ban on cryptocurrencies that they enacted in 2018, according to Coindesk.com. Egypt has issued the ban in fear that the use cryptocurrencies would allow crimes to be committed and put law enforcement at a disadvantage. The government is beginning to change their tune now looking further into cryptocurrencies. The proposed bill will allow for the Central Bank of Egypt to supervise the cryptocurrencies and require licenses for it.
