The power struggle for Bitmain continues, as Micree Zhan has reportedly hired guards and taken over the company’s Beijing office.

According to a report from Chinese publication BlockBeats, former CEO Micree Zhan directed a team of “Bao Ans,” or private guards, to physically take over Bitmain’s office in Beijing on June 3.

Zhan then released an open letter that stated he had resumed control of the Beijing office, and asked employees to return to the office as normal work resumes. He said that while legal disputes are still going on, the situation should soon be resolved.
