Tether may soon pass Ether in market capitalization a recent Bloomberg report states. 

Only a few weeks ago Tether surpassed XRP, claiming the number 3 spot in cryptocurrencies by market capitalization. Bloomberg reported that unless there is an unlikely disruption to crypto trends Tether will likely push Ether out of the number 2 spot behind Bitcoin. 

The report also notes that Tether's strength is supported by it's link to the dollar.
