Ripple’s CTO, David Schwartz, clarified that Ripple has no intention to release proprietary stablecoins after speculation emerged.

David Schwartz replied to a tweet claiming Ripple’s creation of its stablecoin xrpsc to replace XRP. “We are interested in stablecoins issued on XRPL,” Schwartz wrote. “We have no plans to launch one ourselves.”

Rumors on Ripple’s stablecoin began after a closed-door meeting between the technology company and Brazil’s central bank.
