A couple from Northampton, Paul Johnson, and Lia Johnson have been charged with selling illegal drugs by cryptocurrencies, according to Coinnounce.

The duo has pleaded guilty. Paul Johnson was sentenced to eight years in prison for supplying class A and B drugs. Lia Johnson, who was charged under four counts of money laundering, would serve a custodial sentence of two years and be suspended for two years.

The police confiscated $380,000’s worth of bitcoins from Paul Johnson. The couple has been ordered to pay back a total of $2.5 million.
