South African P2P solar leasing platform Sun Exchange announced on June 8 that the company received $3 million investment from Africa Renewable Power Fund of ARCH Emerging Markets Partners. The new investment closed up the Series-A funding round at $4 million.

Sun Exchange will use the money to enhance its software’s performance and develop solar powering schools, clinics, farms, water plants, businesses, and more, over Sub-Saharan Africa

According to Cointelegraph, international customers can purchase remote solar cells from Sun Exchange with BTC or South African Rand to apply them to businesses.
