On Sunday, June 7 Coinbase users widthdrew a record high amount of BTC. Nassim Taleb, the author of "Black Swan" even quit the exchange, as reported by Cointelegraph.

The $214 million worth of BTC widthdrawls came one week after Coinbase experienced a service outage as BTC pushed up against it's resistance level at $10,000, leaving users frustrated.

Some have predicted the event indicates that BTC owners are planning on hodling which could drive BTC price upwards, while others believe the bleeding of BTC demonstrates users' loss of faith in Coinbase following the outage.
