The Libra Association announced on June 10 that the independent member organization is appointing Sterling Daines as its Chief Compliance Officer.

Daines, currently a Managing Director and Global Head of Financial Crime Compliance at Credit Suisse, is an expert at handling anti-money laundering, sanctions, anti-bribery, and more. Daines previously worked as Managing Director and Deputy Head of Financial Crime Compliance at Goldman Sachs.

He said, “I am pleased to join the Libra Association as it works to transform the digital payment space to empower billions of people.”
