BTC made yet another run at $10,000 earlier on Wednesday, June 10, Bitpush data shows.

But just as quickly as the price rose, it dropped back down almost $400 within 20 minutes. Within an hour of the price fluctuations $15 million worth of BitMEX positions had been liquidated, data from Skew showed.

Several analysts noted that this behavior is similar to what was seen before Bitcoin's stellar performance in March 2019. Another  added that strong performance of altcoins over the past few weeks could contribute to a BTC rally in coming weeks, Bitcoinist reported.
