Swiss-based blockchain company Eidoo announced today that the crypto platform has burned 28 million $EDO, nearly a third of its total supply, for the utility token's upcoming upgrade in a week.
After the upgrade on June 18, $EDO will be renamed as $PNT, which will support a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO). The total supply of $PNT will remain below 60 million tokens, which can be used on a new ecosystem, pNetwork.
