Whale Alert reported a series of 20 transactions in an hour of approximately 416.41 BTC in total, which valued at nearly $4 million. The amount of Bitcoin came from the 2016 Bitfinex hack and has now been transferred to unknown wallets.

According to Decrypt, the destination wallets were all new, and no Bitcoin has left those wallets so far. The hackers might be laundering the BTC to escape detection. Concerns for dumping has arisen as that may bring down the price of Bitcoin.

In August 2016, hackers stole around 120,000 BTC from Bitfinex, which valued at $72 million at that time.
