Ethermine  a mining pool that handled one of the two now infamous Ether transfers that tacked on a $2.6 million dollar transaction fee   has announced in a recent tweet that it will distribute the fee to the miners of its pool.

The Bitfly owned mining pool had set aside the fee on Thursday, June 11 to give the sender time to reach out and recover the funds, but hasn't heard from them. Instead, Ethermine has recieved dozens of people claiming to be the sender but none have been able to validate their claim.

The company also stated that in the future it will not "interfere in the payout of large tx fees."
