F2Pool announced on June 18 that the mining pool is returning 90% of a transaction fee of 2,310 ETH ($534K), valued at $480K to the sender.

The Chinese mining pool mined an anomalous 3,221.64 ETH transaction on Ethereum, which had a 2,310 commission on June 11. The sender reached out to F2Pool within two hours, claiming that their node wallet was attacked, and 5,531.64 ETH was sent out.

F2Pool stated that out of their “humanitarian spirit,” the mining pool decided to return the commission to a new address offered by the sender, as the original address is already hacked.
