MyEtherWallet is helping users to launch censor-resistant, decentralized websites, as reported by Cointelegraph.

The app allows users to upload a zip file containing the website files, which the app converts to an InterPlanetary File System and ties it to an Ethereum blockchain.

This functionality is in early days, so currently the sites can only have static pages due to the limitations of hosting a site on a distributed server. Accessing the sites can also be tricky. Today, Opera browser is the only search engine that supports blockchain domains.
