Bitcoin outperformed gold in the first half of 2020, as reported by Coindesk.

While Bitcoin is more volatile than gold, BTC investors saw 11% more returns than those who opted into gold. Even with gold setting eight-year highs in June, it still didn't come close to Bitcoin. 

Bitcoin supporters may look to this as evidence of the currency soldifying as a sade-haven asset.
