Fidelity International, a billion-dollar fund manager, has acquired Hut 8's 4.1 million common shares plus options to purchase another within 18 months, as reported by Coindesk. 

Hut 8’s overnight offering to Fidelity took place on June 23. With 4 million previously purchased shares, the company now has approximately 10.5% of the listed mining firm.

After listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange, Hut 8’s share price has fallen from $3.35 in 2018 to $0.50 in March 2020. Regardless, Fidelity bought their common shares at the price of $1.80, anticipating bullishness.
