The U.S. Department of Justice is looking to hire a dark web and cryptocurrency lawyer to help combat international cybercrime, according to a recently posted job listing.

The job is a 12-month position with the possibility for extension. The person hired will work with The U.S. Transnational and High-Tech Crime Global Law Enforcement Network (GLEN) to combat cybercrime and intellectual property crime occurring across national borders.

The listing noted that the Asia Pacific, Central Asia, and Eastern European regions are hubs for transnational organized crime. The lawyer hired will need to be eligible for top secret security clearance and be available for frequent international travel.
