Bitmain, the Chinese cryptocurrency hardware manufacturer, in a news release claimed to have opened the “world’s largest” Bitcoin (BTC) mining facility in Rockdale, Texas.

Bitmain has worked with Rockdale Municipal Development District and Canadian technology firm, DMG Blockchain solution, to host, manage and expand the facility. The facility currently sits at a 25MW capacity with another 50MW facility still under construction. The site is a total of 33,000-acres and can grow to eventually hold over 300MW.
