President Vladimir Putin’s special IT representative, Dmitry Peskov, has finally made his position on Facebook’s Libra and Telegram’s Gram officially known, according to Bitcoinist.
Peskov has stated that Russia will block either Facebook or Telegram if they attempt to launch without controls. It appears that Russia will be taking its cues from the U.S. on how to handle Facebook since they have worked closest to Facebook and been able to question their executives.
