Twitter Hackers Sent More Than 50% of Bitcoin Through Two Mixers, Report Shows

Published Friday, a new report from blockchain analytic firm Elliptic suggests that twitter hackers have sent more than half of the BTC through two mixing services—ChipMixer and Wasabi Wallet.

According to Elliptic, the two mixers, usually used to mask blockchain transaction trails, have received 56.5% of the 30.4 stolen bitcoins (17.18 BTC, worth of $192,000).

Elliptic stated that twitter hackers are gradually laundering funds and 2.8% of BTC has been cashed out at exchanges, merchants, and gambling services.
