Chainlink is collaborating with Colorado state on a hackathon to create a new lottery game, as announced by Colorado Lottery's official website. Sponsored by Chainlink, there will be $17,500 in prizes available for three winners and $8,500 in Web3 bonus prizes.
With an aim of reaching $1billion revenue goal to “fund outdoor recreation, land conservation and schools in Colorado”, the collaboration appears to be the first-ever public-private partnership and hackathon in the lottery history.
Governor Jared Polis and Vitalik Buterin will speak at the opening ceremony on July 31.
