Whale Alert, the twitter-based blockchain tracker, has found a payment of 0.276343 Bitcoin (3,269 USD) to a confirmed sextortion scam address on August 6.

According to the extortion reporting site Bitcoin Abuse, 22 reports have been filed against this confirmed sextortion scam site. The scam has been active from June 2015, reaping $114,649 from victims with an average of $564 USD per payment.

Sextortion scam is a popular e-mail scam in which victims were convinced that hackers have seized their sexual videos through attacking their computers.
