Twenty finalists have been chosen for the TechSprint regulatory hackathon challenge hosted by the Bank for International Settlements Innovation Hub and the Saudi G20 Presidency.

The hosts' call for submissions spanning cryptocurrency monitoring, regulatory information sharing, or data mining technologu received submissions from 128 companies across 38 countries. 20 finalists have now been chosen from that pool to continue working on their submissions, according to a recent announcement.

The competition aims to highlight technology that can help fintech companies to overcome regulatory hurdles. Three of the 20 finanlists will recieve a $50,000 prize. The final judging will take place in October.
