Announced Thursday, MyEtherWallet (MEW) has integrated DeFi lending protocols Aave and Ren into its platform. MEW is an open-source client for generating non-custodial Ethereum wallets.

Already capable of connecting its users with Ethereum dApps previously, MEW can now enable users to use mobile wallet “MEWconnect” with the support from Aave and Ren. Additionally, MakerDAO vaults will possibly be set up on MEW.

According to DeFi Pulse, the non-custodial lending protocol Aave now has a $543.8 million value locked. While Aave is helping users to access dApps on mobile wallets, Ren allows users to deposit Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, and Zcash into Ethereum DeFi protocols.
