Founder of the SilkRoad, Ross Ulbricht, published a follow-up to an essay he wrote making suggestions for how MakerDao could be improved.
In his original essay, he expresed confusion over why the DAI savings rate is higher than what DAI minters pay as interest rates. However, this is not the case given that the savings rate is gathered from stability fee payments.
It's not difficult for Ulbricht to have information gaps because he is currently serving a double life sentence for his role in the creation of the SilkRoad. In prison, Ulbricht is limited to only traditional mail and phone calls which he uses to communicate with the outside world. To publish, he sends handwritten letters to friends on the outside who transcribe and post his work.
His follow up letter corrected his points on the Maker savings rate. He stated that he had received values for the savings rate and stability fee but that they were from different days.
