BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (BRPL) the Indian electricity distribution company and Australian blockchain energy firm Power Ledger have completed their trial for peer-to-peer (P2P) solar power trading, according to Cointelegraph.

The large-scale P2P trial took place in the Dwarka region, South West Delhi, which had 5-6 megawatts of preexisting solar infrastructure serving gated communities. The trial allowed for those with solar infrastructure to sell their excess solar energy to neighboring households.
