Weibo, considered the Chinese Twitter, blocked all content, including the number of followers from the page. The accounts were blocked for violations of laws and regulations and the relevant provisions of the Weibo Community Convention. The China Times reported Friday that suspensions might be subject to “more stringent penalties.”
