Visa, the international payment network, is building a blockchain-based system for joint policy-compliant computation of large-scale private data.

Visa Research, the research and development arm of Visa, issued a paper describing a blockchain-powered system for policy-compliant computing. The system is named LucidiTEE, the TEE stands for trusted execution environments. LucidiTEE's goal is to let users jointly compute private data, reportedly providing them with clarity and control while guaranteeing that other parties will be unable to see the results of the computation.
