Etherscan.io, one of the most popular ethereum block explorers, has been blocked by the China’s Internet Firewall. This is the tool the Chinese government uses to regulate access to foreign websites. However, it’s still not clear what the exact reason that led to the block. According to Greatfire.org, etherscan.io must have been blocked since at least October 30.
