The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has given their approval to the New York Digital Investment Group (NYDIG) to begin offering institutional investors shares of a new fund which focuses on bitcoin futures.

The NYDIG Bitcoin Strategy Fund invests cash in settled bitcoin futures contracts that are traded on Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) registered exchanges. The fund will not invest in Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency directly.
