Coinbase Pro users can now transfer UNI into their accounts ahead of trading, according to a recent announcement.
Once there is a large enough supply of UNI on the platform trading on Coinbase's UNI-USD order book will launch in three phases with the ultimate goal of full trading. UNI support is available in all Coinbase jurisdictions except for New York.
The new feature comes after Coinbase has received pressure from the crypto community to list UNI in addition to a wider array of digital assets. The announcement opened by stating that new assets will be added as they meet the standards of Coinbase's listing process.
Over recent weeks Coinbase has listed several DeFi products including yearn.finance (YFI), UMA (UMA) and Compound (COMP). UNI is not currently available on Coinbase.com.
