Crypto influencer Andreas Antonopoulos has come under fire from Bitcoin community members after airing an Ethereum Q&A on his Youtube channel last week which caused many to argue that he was producing Ethereum propaganda for personal financial gain.

Antonopoulos spoke against his critics in a Twitter thread calling out what he called a harassment campaign. He expressed gratitude at being able to speak freely because he is self-employed and refuted claims that he has accepted bribes or secret financing.

"To bitcoin-forkers I'm a Blockstream shill, even while Blockstream employees attack me publicly for "shilling ETH", while ETH fanatics call me a BTC-maxi," he wrote.
