Pickle Finance — one of DeFi's latest food-themed projects — has gathered further attention over the weekend as community members have praised the efficiency of the community's governance.

Managing Director for Global Business Technology Development at ConsenSys, John Lilic, highlighted Pickle Finance's rapid progress since launching on Friday, September 11. The community has passed various measures over the past week including identifying the opportunity to compound UniSwap rewards.

Lilic argued in a tweet that the efficiency of Pickle's governance is one of the most bullish cases for the team. Pickle Finance launched with the goal of bringing price stability to stablecoins using farming incentives, vaults and governance.

The project quickly rose to prominence locking in $347 million in total value over the course of days and ranking as the 13th largest DeFi protocol, but has since fallen behind. At the time of writing PICKLE is trading hands for $31.69 and is down 26.17%.
