Yearn Finance founder Andre Cronje signaled his intent to be a delegate for Uniswap in an effort to win influence over governance of the protocol.

Cronje noted in a tweet that his priorities as a delegate would be to build out delegation, off-chain voting and on-chain enforcement. He added that the community is at a point where tokenomics and distribution can be re-evaluated.

Uniswap announced on Wednesday, September 16 that the protocol wants to bring in a set of protocol delegates to discuss governance issues and the UNI token.

Cronje said that his intention is not for the YFI-ETH pool to be included in the UNI liquidity pool. UNI has been listed on both Binance and OKEx and joined the ranks as one of the top 20 DeFi tokens.
