Lightcurve, the blockchain project part of the open-source blockchain platform Lisk, laid off almost 40% of its workforce, according to The Block.

Max Kordek, Lisk co-founder and CEO, stated that Lightcurve let go 21 of their 53 employees to cut their costs. Lightcurve is a unit of Lisk, co-founded by Kordek and Oliver Beddows, who are also the CEO’s of Lisk. Lightcurve is the main research and development studio for the Lisk Foundation.
