Monero's dominance in the privacy coin sector has hit its highest point since 2017, data from CoinMetrics shows.

The coin's dominance stands several points above 50% leading among other popular privacy coins including Zcash, Dash, Grin, PIVX and Verge.

Monero also dominates the total number of transactions hiding the sender, receiver and amount, data compiled by Regulatory Compliance Analyst at DV Trading Justin Ehrenhofer.
