Solana has announced today the launch of its new cross-chain bridge Wormhole, as reported by AMBCrypto. Aiming to improve the congestion and price issues that networks have been experiencing recently on Ethereum, Wormhole will connect Ethereum tokens to the SPL tokens used on Solana’s blockchain.
Having previously been accessible to Ethereum tokens only via the derivatives trading platform FTX, Solana will now be able to determine if users would choose Wormhole over FTX, or vice versa, as an avenue for Ethereum liquidity.
