Nikolai Mushegian, former MakerDAO contributor, has donated 10,000 MKR which is valued around $4.2 million for his alma mater, Carnegie Mellon University, to develop a research program for decentralized applications.

On Wednesday Mushegian announced the donation on his website. According to the post he has already donated 3,200 MKR ($1.3 million) on the previous day and “informally committed” another 6,800 MKR ($2.9 million).
