Digital currency asset manager Grayscale Investments announced today that it raised over $1 billion in investments in the third quarter of this year, the largest amount the company has ever raised in a single quarter. The third quarter investments bring Grayscale's total amount raised in 2020 to over $2.4 billion, which means that its 2013-2019 inflow of $1.2 billion has more than doubled.

While the majority of the inflow came from Grayscale's primary investment products, Grayscale also saw tremendous increases in inflow for its Bitcoin Cash Trust, Litecoin Trust, and Digital Large Cap Fund, indicating increased demand for digital currency assets.
