Kraken subsidiary Cryptowatch has announced plans to release a desktop based trading app, according to an announcement on Tuesday, October 20.

Cryptowatch is a trading terminal grouping market data and exchanges. The desktop app will allow the platform to run on MacOS, Windows and Linux compared to previously when it could only be run through a web browser. The software is coded with Rust, a language that is becoming more popular in crypto thanks to its functionality and safety guarantees.
