Crypto custody platform Casa has enabled bitcoin (BTC) purchases via bank transfer at 0.99% fees, currently the lowest available fees for BTC purchases. Casa offers users a secure platform to buy BTC with no third party custodial involvement, making BTC more secure for users who have in the past relied on custodians due to safety concerns about independent BTC ownership. While Casa's new bank transfer function requires users to provide personal information, the information is not stored on Casa's servers, and users can engage with the server pseudonymously after initial approval of their personal information for bank transfer purchases.

The platform's new BTC purchasing option is now available in 43 U.S. states, with the other 7 states to become compatible in the future through Casa's partnership with blockchain-based payment service Wyre.
