The United Nations warned that attendance to North Korea’s cryptocurrency conference in February might constitute to a sanctions violation. This notice was issued in a confidential report that will be submitted to the U.N. Security Council. 

Despite these warnings, some members of the blockchain community are still planning to host in North Korea next month. The conference will take place on February 10 and is being organized under Alejandro Cao de Benos, president of the Korean Friendship Association, and Chris Emms, business developer at Bitcoin.com.
