Vodafone is the eighth company to pull out of the Libra Association, according to CoinDesk. The parting seems on amicable terms and not due to the regulatory concerns that scared off former members in 2019. 

For now, Vodafone will be focusing on M-Pesa, a project to extend financial inclusion. M-Pesa offers the ability for different currencies to distribute remittance, the platform will accept stablecoins including the Libra. The Libra originally intended to launch in 2020, but Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg shares that regulatory concerns might push back the date.
