Bittrex, the leading US based blockchain technology and cryptocurrency exchange, announced they have added digital asset insurance for their cold storage system to keep named cryptocurrency assets safe.

Bittrex worked with the world’s leading insurance broker and risk adviser Marsh in placing the coverage with Arch syndicate 2012, which will offer casualty and specialty insurance for corporations and is supported by various syndicates at Lloyd’s of London. The policy will provide up $300 million in coverage in the event of external theft and internal collusion.
