Ethereum led the downward fall of cryptocurrencies prices last night with Bitcoin following close behind. The fall was harsh causing Ethereum to lose all the support levels it had secured in the upper $400 region.

At the time of writing Ethereum is trading at $472 and is down 0.69%. The currency is down from recent highs of near $500, but it is also a recovery from lows of $450 earlier today. If bulls are able to defend $470 as a support level it could clear a path towards further uptrend for Ether.

The currency's performance will likely end up being tied to Bitcoin which is trading at $17,566 and is up 0.02% as of writing.
