Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin noted that he expects for users to notice improvements on the network in the near future as Etheruem 2.0 approaches.
“TLDR: merge happens faster, PoS happens faster, you get your juicy 100k TPS faster,” Buterin said during Wednesday's Reddit hosted Ask Me Anything session on Ethereum 2.0.
Rollup-centric updates to handle scaling issues, a simplified merge and the parallelization of phases are key features of Ethereum 2.0, Buterin said. All upgrades are designed to decrease the length of time until Ethereum 2.0 becomes useful to people, he added.
