Chainlink price feeds have been launched on Matic Network, it was announced Thursday. The feeds are live and include prices of ETH/USD, DAI/USD and other cryptocurrencies. It is hoped that the launch will help with the increasing demand of DeFi on the network.

Chainlink was chosen for a number of reasons, including a decentralized oracle infrastructure, clear monitoring processes and the quality of data. Chainlink Price Feeds are market leading.
