VMware has introduced a blockchain platform for businesses. The company, owned by Dell, says that the VMware Blockchain product addresses scalability and performance, and aims to enable businesses to produce decentralized applications. The main target businesses include retail, healthcare and financial service.

“VMware Blockchain delivers to customers the enterprise features they need for production today and the flexibility to adapt to future needs in the rapidly evolving blockchain space,” said Brendon Howe, general manager of blockchain at VMware.
