The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency is seeking public comments on rule-making which would stop banks from denying services to businesses based on sector, according to a recent announcement.

Comptroller Brian Brooks stated that blanket boycotts of entire industries must stop. This would presumably include the crypto industry. The announcement cited oil and gas companies in Alaska as among industries banks systemically deny services to.
